Personally I think this is too simple minded. Again, give up direct freedoms to protect against a website not being accessible. A simple inconvenience on a Virtual thing, but give up real rights. I run and own a web business and brick and mortar, www.net2world.se and I would rather it go down temporarily then to loose my rights and freedoms permanently. I think the post is shortsighted and lacks a good understanding of history. Besides with proper hardware and protection nobody can take your site down. Maybe because I am in Sweden and on multi Gigabyte parallel connections I feel more secure.
