The End of A Chapter

This chapter is finally coming to an end.

I’ve spent the last few months slowing down and processing where my life has taken me so far. I had moved from Chapel Hill, NC where I was in graduate school back to my home in the suburbs of Folsom, CA. I beat cancer. I danced. I discovered new communities and made new memories. But now my break has come to an end.

Today, I’ll be returning to Chapel Hill, NC. In a week, I will defend my masters thesis. And several days after that, I will begin a solo cross country road trip in my Prius, Ghost.

I want to end this chapter the right way. Many of you have impacted me during my time in NC. I am grateful for you and want to give us an opportunity to meet one more time before I leave. If you are interested in meeting with me, send me a private message with your availability. Let’s go for a walk.

I’ll also be available for private dance lessons too in salsa, bachata, or zouk.

Here is my tentative travel schedule. If you or anyone you know who I would vibe with will be in these areas at these times, please reach out to me! I am also looking for teaching gigs.

I am also looking for a couch to sleep on in some places (I will cook a mean pesto chicken tortellini and/or give you a dance lesson in return).

Aug. 4–7 Washington D.C. (need housing still)

Sept 10–12 Seattle, other parts of Washington (need housing)

I’ll be soaking up every moment of this trip. I’m beyond excited to explore what this country has to offer and grow even more in the process.

Thank you for contributing to my journey thus far. And thank you for contributing to where it will go.
