Faculty Death

Greener University is grieving the loss of a professor. Education professor Elizabeth Billson died at the age of 58. The cause of her death is still unknown, but school officials mentioned that Billson has been fighting cancer for ten years. This outstanding professor was considered to be a Plato, training about ten thousand future teachers throughout her career. She is one of the oldest professors at Greener, serving for 36 years. Billson’s full dedication to the university awarded her the “Outstanding Professor” award the previous year. The education department will miss her presence.

Two trucks recently collided on I-59. The accident happened close to a narrow lane and is now under construction. Both trucks yielded but the narrow lane was unavoidable. No one was hurt or injured; however, the crash caused a traffic jam. The road opposite to the accident experienced traffic too. The traffic lasted for 45 minutes. Both trucks carried oil, which spilled and created an oil slick throughout I-59. One of the trucks carried frozen goods, which rotted causing the company $100,000. The police cited both drivers for speeding and reckless driving.
