WHY WILL CLIENT REJECT YOUR WORK
You have put all your best in writing a blog post, article etc. After spending hours researching and putting things together, you review to correct some typing errors and make sure it is 100% perfect.
Then you go online, go to your mail, click on compose message, attach the file and hit the send button while speaking in tongues for a miracle to happen.
You are even praying the client should be online so you get immediate reply.
After 15 minutes, you get a beep sound, you’ve got a message. You check and it’s a reply message from your client.
Is this a yes or another topic? Unfortunately, it’s none of the above. The client did not accept the piece you took your precious time to put together.
Is the client mad or just finish two bottle of Vodka?
How this ever happened to you or will it happen to you? Don’t say God forbid, just keep quiet because it doesn’t involve prayer but you.
What did you write in the first place? The client gave you a topic and you happily went to gather resources and put a splendid write-up together only to be rejected.
HERE IS WHY CLIENT WILL ALWAYS REJECT YOUR WRITE-UP
1. Plagiarism
When my writers submit articles to me, the first thing I check for is plagiarism. I run plagiarism check on the piece to make sure it is not a copy and paste content.
You call yourself a writer, yet you can’t create your own word or read something and put your findings in your own words.
Google don’t like plagiarized content, so publishers who depend on Google to get paid won’t accept your content if it’s not at least 90% unique.
Never you copy and paste any content, they will catch you. Not even four words. IT WILL SHOW RED!
Here is how to avoid plagiarism when you are given a topic to write on.
1. Do your research on the topic from at least 3 sites by tying the topic on search engines.
2. Read and digest everything about the topic.
3. Put your findings in your own words.
This will make your content plagiarism free. Hope this help you in the future!
2. Grammatical Error
But why should you do that? I mean trying to submit content filled with grammatical error. And you want the client to be happy? If a client has to start editing your content after paying you to write it, just have it in mind that you will soon be replaced.
Before submitting a content to a client, you should do a spell check on the content or get someone to proof-read it for you.
3. Out of Point
Some aspiring writers just feel it is all about creating content that meet the specified number of words.
Clients want you to submit content that will add value to their readers. I always tell my writers, after writing a content, ask yourself if what you have written is the solution to the problem the reader want.
If you are to create a content on, ‘How to open a verified PayPal account in Nigeria’. If a person read your content, can he or she successfully open a verified PayPal account in Nigeria?
If no, then you have not created any content because what you wrote has nouse to someone who has a problem of opening a PayPal account in Nigeria.
Remain bless!
