Month Four is finally over.

This last class, Brand Development, seemed to drag on fffffooooorrrrreeevvvveerrrrrr. It was awful. I didn’t feel like I learned a lot. The professor was not great; she and I butted heads quite frequently. She accused me of copying the work of a student’s example. I didn’t like her at all, and I get here again in like six months, oh great….

But I did learn one thing from this last class, I don’t like branding. That’s not my thing. Yeah, it’s important to understand the basics of branding and how it plays into the design process but there was too much information about marketing and branding that didn’t apply to design. If I wanted a class about marketing, I’d have taken marketing, if I wanted branding, I’d have enrolled in a program for branding. I’m glad I have the base of its significance in relation to design, but I didn’t enjoy the class at all.

That being said, I started Copywriting yesterday. This one I’m a little excited for. Words are not my forte, so I’m kind of excited about this one. I hope it goes well.

Meanwhile, Grandma is doing as well as can be expected. We finally got the chance to get up and see her last weekend. She was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer two weeks ago. She had her first chemo treatment on Friday. I haven’t chatted with her yet to see how she is doing after it. But she’s staying strong, I think. It’s still a little hard to process, and I haven’t really fully accepted it yet.

Also, I missed my Sunday deadline and just thought about writing my story today.. Oops. My bad. For all probably two of my readers, I know you’re counting on me. Don’t worry I’m not offended.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
