Truth be told, Nigeria has beautiful landscapes, you have to believe me, there are different sites where you will come across an awesome view, especially if you enjoy road trips like i do.
One of these sites is Oke Idanre Hills, located in Ondo State. Idanre is a town located in Ondo state, its apprx 4 h 21 min from Lagos and 45 mins drive from Akure township.
It is a town surround by rocks, which becomes noticeable as soon as you enter the town, there are hilly tops with different shapes and sizes. The resort (Idanre hills) is an abode for the old generation of dwellers in the town, there are structures on top of the hill that shows earlier dwellings, like the palace, the first primary school (which has been deserted a long time ago)
When i started the climb, i noticed at every 100 steps, there is a resting place, with a great view of the town below, I climbed the first 660 steps to 3500km above sea level, there is nice view of the whole town at this level.

Idanre hills is on the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage added October 8, 2007 in the Cultural category.
