Don’t Shoot for The Stars Anymore
Today’s Mistake: Telling people to dream without limits/dream big without context.
Disclaimer: I am not saying you shouldn’t dream big. But maybe dreaming big is a bad approach for everyone.
Now there are some people who have big dreams and they shouldn’t be doused by any means. And then there are others who don’t have big dreams and goals but you have little baby ones.
You don’t want to be an Instagram model and sell flat tummy teas but you would like to be able to fit into your high school dress.
You don’t necessarily want a big deal with FOOD NETWORK but you do have a passion to cook every now and again.
Well, keep it small. But keep it consistent.
So just focus on 20 minutes of cardio a day.
Just focus on doing 1 blog a month.
Focus on doing 1 video bi-weekly.
The reason why you may be failing is that you are trying to write a daily blog/email like me. This came after 3–4 years of procrastination and laziness. I finally got slapped in the face one day and it woke me up.
Now, the beauty is that if these things are TOO small you can add your own to the pot. You can do 40 minutes of cardio or 3 blog posts a month. Just get into a rhythm. And let that rhythm become a groove.
That is how I went from writing ZERO emails to now being able to write 3 years straight. I am doing what I said I was going to do. I had to get serious about the results I wanted and here we have it. You will only go hard if it means everything to you. And maybe right now it doesn’t. Your awakening may come later down the road.
Sincerely,
