Its all very good stuff and the problems are indeed serious, but nobody seems to want to tackle the fundemental cause, which is too many people who are expanding too fast.
Its obvioust that if the world population was reduced to half of what it is now, the problems you are discussing would simply fade away. Not only that, but the amount of suffering by those who cannot obtain adequate nourishment would be roughly halved as well. Its not that it can’t be done. Both China and S. Korea, reduced the birth rate to 1 per female. WHY is nobody pushing that solution??
