“to bring positive change to the world.” raises the BIG question who decides what changes are positive? For example, I do not think that having AI that is superior to humans is a positive change. They will be making the decisions in our place and they have mobility to boot, via robots, and comms access to everything. In short machines will rule!

It makes no differecne how we try to retain some control, they will find a way round it. Then what will happen when they realise that they are in competition with humans for the scarcening resources we both need, particulalrly metals? The likely answer to that doesn’t bear thinking about….
