The primary injustice and tragedy is that she is dead.
I would rather focus on how to prevent future tragedies of that sort than on whether there are racially-prompted differences in how the deceased is described. Maybe there are. Is that truly the first order of business here? Or are the first orders of business finding the killer(s) and/or increasing the social support services for domestic conflict and/or having adequate mental care to help prevent “domestic disputes” from turning lethal?
She’s dead, and her child no longer has a mother. This is terrible.
