It’s Not About Race!
John Metta

You have portrayed an unfortunate situation eloquently, but I didn’t quite catch what you thought the conclusion was regarding the fellow wanting to not get derailed by emotions.

Was it: “look buddy, this is an emotional matter, and it should be, and you’ll just have to deal with however hard that makes it for you to get to the heart of the matter”?

Or was it: “it is Western cultural imperialism that tells us to reason logically while avoiding strong emotion, and that’s not where I’m coming from, and you not appreciating where I’m coming from is the whole point”?

It sounds more like the latter, especially in your response to Ricardo Ruiz.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
