It’s not well known, but Bernie Sanders has a quiet record of getting things done in Congress.
- People like John McCain (not a socialist) are on record praising his work on overhauling the Veterans’ Administration.
- He got the Fed audited, something Ron Paul spent decades trying and failing to do.
- He got an amendment passed to ensure transparency of Defense Dept officials who were seeking employment with defense contractors.
There’s a lot more than that besides. Hillary has tried to paint herself as someone who gets stuff done, but frankly, she gets the Republicans even more constipated than Obama does.
Why? Because their constituents haaate her. And they want to get reelected.
Not so much a problem with Bernie, who wipes the floor with Hillary on attracting independent voters.
