After reading ALL linked and connected papers, also from Telegram blog, at the moment I see no reason to move away from Telegram. Never used WhatsApp nor intentioned to do it.

Probably, I’ll install Signal only to test it. It was so hard moving friends from WA to Telegram, so I’m not going to start all again for a mere merchandise action of the original writer of the “I hack Telegram security protocol.”

He simply did not: having root access give access to all decryption keys stored on the device, so I do not consider this an hack, or a compromise of my security.

Of course this is MY opinion.
