What is your most favourite franchise movie? The franchise that you want to see every for every single movie. Anyway, a movie can become a franchise if the first movie was a big success. That requires a good strategy to create a franchise so that the stories won’t be so chaotic and fail. If the franchise fails, the view of audiences to the franchise will become bad and likely no one wants to watch it. There are many types of franchise: sequel, prequel, reboot, remake, spin-off, and crossover. This essay will explain the meaning and understanding of each type along with examples that will make you easy to understand.

A sequel is a movie with a story that continues the previous one. It, usually, has a sign like number at the title, such as 2, or 3. The main character is still the same, but the differences are in the conflict and plot. As the example, Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, and Toy Story 4.
