Yes! I moved to Mexico City when I was about 22 and quickly realized how sheltered I was from the rest of the world’s reality. I was shocked that people my age could talk about political leaders from other countries… I had never heard of people like Hugo Chavez and Lula Da Silva and Nicolas Sarkozy. It’s also impressive to see from the outside- just how far the USA’s cultural conquest reaches. Truly a wonderful experience, I couldn’t have spent my twenties in a better way. Thanks for the read!
