Faculty Death

Long time Liberty University teacher Elizabeth Billson lost her ten year battle with cancer Monday morning. Elizabeth had taught at Liberty for 36 years and had been awarded the “Outstanding Professor” award last year. She is estimated to have taught over 10000 future teachers during her career.

Wreck

Two trucks traveling a section of I-59 undergoing repairs collided head on Monday night. The accident caused 54 minute delays both ways as emergency responders rushed to clean up the petrol and mess from the busy highway. Both drivers are unhurt but were both cited for reckless driving and speeding.
