March 17, 2016 5:30 pm-6:30 pm No school today ! It’s spring break and I’m mad I still have to do school work *sigh* . I will be reading Euripides Helen and I am a little excited because I actually like the character Helen. She has men going to war over her and that is amazing to me, but I do feel bad for her because she may feel responsible for the lives that were lost . I am going to read this play little by little, which means I am going to read a certain amount of pages each day to get a more clear understanding about what Is happening in the Euripides Helen play. After reading a limited amount of pages of the play, I don’t know whether I should be happy or upset that Helen has been in Egypt the whole entire time. It is hard to believe that she was in Egypt when the other plays were so detailed about Helen being at Troy with Paris.

I applaud Hera for making a phantom Of Helen , but it does not seem realistic . However, the phantom Helen could have really been made to trick the men in the war. This play is very comical and tragic because the war basically happened for no reason and it’s tragic because many lives were lost for no absolute reason. It’s just shocking knowing that none of the seers realized that there was a phantom Helen at Troy the whole entire time.

March 19, 2016 10 a.m- 11 a.m To my surprise I am actually pressed to continue my reading of the play because it is so confusing and I like to make sense of it. After reading the play, I really realize that Helen is m

March 20, 2016 7 p.m-8 p.m Helen really loved her husband in this play because she seemed happier towards Menelaus . However, she still seemed unloyal in my opinion because as soon as found out he was dead, she was ready to marry Proteus son Theoclymenus. I thought when a woman husband dies she remains a widow. She did not grief at the fact that her husband might hav
