“Domestic violence … has no age discrimination, it has no color, it has no sense of economic structure. It affects everybody.”

In this episode, Judithe speaks with Kay Kunda Musonda, a career/life coach focusing on people in transition, such as homeless men and women, survivors of domestic violence, immigrants, and other underserved populations. Kunda focuses on helping people envision different futures for themselves during difficult times and then taking actionable steps to bring themselves to those futures. The idea is to dream a dream and then live into it.

“YOU HAVE TO [SUPPORT] PEOPLE TO TAP INTO THEMSELVES, TO BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES. IT’S [ABOUT CREATING THE SPACE] TO HELP THEM REALIZE THAT THEY’RE SO MUCH MORE THAN THEIR CIRCUMSTANCE.”
