Love this! I especially like the gamification aspect. I think for younger techies who grew up with game play being their first real interest in tech, that’s a particularly effective approach.

I share Keisha’s commitment to diversity in the tech industry. Part of how I meet that need is by providing a “therapeutic play” experiences that are more interpersonal and artistic in focus at ConsciousProfessionals.org, getting the techies away from tech for a day.

I think both approaches provide a uniquely valuable opportunity for professionals of color to find each other — particularly finding those who care about both their careers and increasing the depth and breadth of their support network in enjoyable ways.
