How Infinity Pad adapted to its Community’s needs and became Chain Agnostic.
The importance of adaptability and flexible integrations is key while developing a successful DeFi project, and with the current market state this importance weights even more in the minds of the IPAD team. Our cross-chain technology already puts us in a very strong starting position to tackle a bear market, but we are still looking to improve on multiple levels to bring to our users the best possible product.
While veterans of the market are already aware that the ability to easily answer different possible market scenarios is crucial to any business, especially in the DeFi ecosphere, we want to give to the newcomers in our community a quick glimpse at what this actually means with a practical example.
A long time ago, we had planned a Strong Holder Offering ( SHO) for a project that on the day of their TGE bailed on its responsibilities.
They promised to distribute their tokens on the BSC network, which at the time was the only available network for the Infinity Pad community, and then refused to go forward with the distribution.
Now, we had two possibilities: either try and distribute the tokens on another chain, with minimal notice, and multiple difficulties in our way, or we could take that loss, cancel the SHO and give something different to our community to match the initial value of the SHO itself.
We decided to go for the second option, due to the many difficulties of the first endeavour, and the unreliability of the project we were in contact with, and while everyone was miffed by the other project’s failure to show up, we managed to recoup our losses and our community losses, while also learning a very important lesson:
be ready for anything, at any time.
The day after, our team decided to fully embrace this mentality, and became Chain Agnostic, starting to develop our own multi-chain technology and cross-chain integrations.
This sudden development led us to many different opportunities, and since that day we have never failed to properly adapt to what came to us, thanks also to our team’s ability to swiftly introduce new state-of-the-art solutions in the IPAD ecosystem.
We have gone a long way from those initial days, and now Infinity Pad is a huge multi-chain ecosystem, from which you can reach all the major EVM networks available in the DeFi space (BSC, ETH, AVALANCHE, FUSE, CELO, FANTOM, POLYGON, SOLANA) and we crowned this streak of successes with the fundraising of YOUR, the first project that tested the waters for our cross-chain integration on the Solana network.
While this may have been a painful lesson for us to learn, it has led to much growth and has perfectly showcased to the Infinity Pad team the importance of multichain technology at a time in which very few projects were adopting this kind of stance, letting us get a leg up on the market and reach the heights we are currently at.
But, it has also showcased to us the necessity of continued core development improvements, the value that our faithful community has for the IPAD team and that we should never stop trying to reach for new standards of quality for our project.
This is why Infinity Pad is always coming up with new exciting solutions, and this is why our team is working tirelessly to cater to all of our community’s needs and wants while delivering the best possible product to all of our userbase.
