Amazon was founded in 1994 in the USA, since has become the largest internet based retailer of books, clothing, electronics, music and many other products. Amazon is a trusted and popular retailer where vendors want their products.
There are two ways to offer products or services on Amazon’s platform:
1. Amazon Seller Central is a web-based portal used mainly by the Seller can sell his own products directly to consumers on the Amazon marketplace.
2. Amazon Vendor Central is a web-based portal used mainly by manufacturers and distributors to sell and ship direct to Amazon, which in turn sells the products to consumers and ships them from its distribution centres.
