Read on and learn how you can own NFT artwork by the unpronounceable household name behind legendary animations such as The Rugrats, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, The Wild Thornberrys and Duckman.

If you know, you know… if you don’t know, you probably still know, but don’t know you know… you know?

If you watch TV or movies, you’ve seen the work of seminal Hungarian animator Gabor Csupo. With a career spanning 50 years at the top of his game, his IMDB page lists 46 producer credits, over 30 award nominations including six wins and 5 Emmys, oh, and he’s one of the reasons The Simpsons are yellow.

If you’re younger, or older, you may know him from his creations like The Rugrats, Rocket Power, The Wild Thornberrys, or his work on Disney’s infamous maudlin tragedy Bridge to Terabithia. Gabor Csupo co-founded the animation studio Klasky Csupo ending up being the studio that animated The Simpsons between 1989–1991. Along the way they worked with McDonalds, Luther Vandross, and The Beastie Boys.

Seriously, we’re going to be here all day. So, if you want to know more watch this video reel (www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpulVI9eWR0&t=253s), or browse his IMDb page (www.imdb.com/name/nm0190780/), but like we said, don’t make any plans, the man spent his life making amazing animations and he’s a man who spent his life well.

Well, soon you’ll be able to own a piece of artwork by legendary animator Gabor Csupo; thanks to the upcoming NFT collection Cosa Monstra (https://twitter.com/CosaMonstraNFT).

Gabor Csupo will soon premiere an upcoming NFT Studio called Inkhead Studios and this is the studio that will carry his work and his vision into the metaverse (https://twitter.com/InkheadStudios).

The collection features new works by the visionary artist, producer and director. Inkhead Studios, Csupo’s new project, plans to release Cosa Monstra as an ERC 721 collection on the Ethereum blockchain.

Before we look at Csupo’s history, and don’t make any plans, this could take a while- let’s answer those questions bouncing round your noggin…

What will the NFTs do?
Good question, Csupo’s NFTs represent a lasting fragment of his legacy. The artist was born and grew up in Hungary. Csupo escaped the Iron Curtain via traversing a perilous rail tunnel to neighbouring Austria. The only possessions Csupo chose to take with him on his odyssey was his collection of Classic Frank Zappa vinyl. This demonstrates Csupo’s understanding of the value of art and what it means to possess it. Csupo’s upcoming NFT collection aims to inspire the same connection to his followers, supporters, and contemporaries. To own art so ethereal, yet powerful, knowing that there will never be another like it, is a feeling few of us will ever know. The upcoming NFT collection aims to offer that connection to anyone who desires it.

Yeah… but what will the NFTs do?
Functionality wise, the collection is still on the drawing board but close to being ready. However, early hints suggest owners will become part of an eternal collector’s edition series. There’s also talks of perks, utility and benefits; Your Cosa Monstra NFT will double as a membership pass. We can say for sure that owners of the NFTs will at least get the chance to see their ‘collection’ up in lights. Oh, and let’s not forget they’ll also own a part of Gabor Csupo’s art/animation legacy.

Are the works new or will they feature Csupo’s legacy work?
Gabor is working on this collection as we speak and it will feature brand new works, never seen by the public.

In addition, we expect to hear announcements of featured artist collaborations along the way. Csupo has worked with many legendary artists in his career and has always sought to showcase the diversity within the animation and cartoon industry.

How can we mint on one of Gabor Csupos NFTs?
There will be a a whitelist, a pre-sale, and all that malarkey. Our advice is to keep up with the Twitter channel for the upcoming collection https://twitter.com/CosaMonstraNFT.

After that, the collection heads to the secondary market and sites like OpenSea.io (www.opensea.io) and Rarible.com (www.rarible.com).
