I think you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned feelings of fear. Personally, I let my fear and insecurity get the better of me when it comes to projects that involve some level of exposure.

The other emotion that comes to mind — if you can call it an emotion — is exhaustion. I think many of us mentally label certain tasks as excessively tedious when this is often not the reality. Once started, most tasks are not so burdensome. If they are, you can stop and at least know you’ve completed a part of it.
