Meet Dwaine Harding who has recently joined the Cardiff office as a Software Engineer. We sat down with him to discuss how he got into Software Engineering and how his first few weeks have been at Inspiretec.

What were you doing before you joined Inspiretec?

Before joining Inspiretec I was working as a Senior Software Developer at NHS Wales Informatics Service (NWIS) where I spent around three and a half years. Having initially joined NWIS in 2016 I was able to progress through a number of roles before deciding to leave.

Inspiretec has 140 employees across our offices in Cardiff and Toronto. The team consists of creative and practical individuals working within a range of technical disciplines. Each year we employ an intake of high calibre university graduates and interns to work alongside our specialists within the company. This enables these individuals to develop their skills and knowledge for the future.

We currently work with Cardiff University and the European Student Placement Agency (ESPA) to offer student internships. Inspiretec has employed interns in a variety of roles from across the business, varying from software development to marketing to project management.
