As we approach our highly anticipated TGE, we are excited to share our updated 2024 roadmap and highlight our progress so far.

IntentX’s aims to be the ultimate perpetuals DEX, offering the deepest liquidity, the most assets, and the very best UX possible. Our journey is ongoing, and we will continue to develop, scale, and improve indefinitely.

With our vision for IntentX clear, we are pleased to present our updated 2024 roadmap:

Journey Thus Far

In our first six months of beta, starting November 15, 2023, we have accomplished the following:

17,000+ Unique users
Added 94 new tradable pairs (from 180 to now 274)
Available OI scaled from $5M to now $50M
3 Multi-chain deployments (Base, Blast, Mantle)
Launched 250,000 $MNT Trader Incentives Program
Onboarded new solver (already taking new live trades)
Launched 3 serviced front-ends (Thena, Core, BeFi)

Countless UI and Analytics Upgrades
Raised $2.5M in Seed Round and $1.8M in Strategic Round funding from top industry partners.

A great deal of foundational work was accomplished in these past 6 months, setting us up to truly scale and show the full potential of our platform.

The Journey Ahead

While we’ve accomplished a great deal to date, we are not slowing down. In fact, we are accelerating with our 2024 roadmap.

In this article, we will share some insights and previews of key products coming to IntentX.

TGE, Staking, Airdrop

Firstly our roadmap is kicked off with our Token Generation Event, which comes with our novel xINTX staking mechanism and trader airdrop!

Instant Trades + Upgraded Force Close

Currently, all trades happen directly on-chain, which can impair smooth executions. Execution speeds are a top priority for us to improve on.

In collaboration with SYMMIO, we will be piloting off-chain trading via state-channel with solver, in Q2 / Q3 2024.

Early tests have shown sub 1000ms fill times, an over 10x improvement over current times.

Along with instant trades, an updated Force Close function with lower time and less dependancy on solvers will be introduced.

Full V2 Platform Rebuild

We’ve been working on a complete platform redesign and rebuilding in stealth for over 3 months now!

With the engagement of top industry professionals, lessons learned / feedback from the Open Beta, and the implementation of leading industry practices, we have built the very best UI / UX in the industry.

IntentX V2 goes beyond just a UI update. We have taken the opportunity to completely rebuild the platform from scratch to improve performance, responsiveness, load times, and caching.

V1 was built upon the Cloverfield base which has served us well in MVP state, V2 will be the platform that takes us to the next level.

This redesign will also come with a brand refresh for IntentX, refining our logo and brand identity into a more mature and professional platform.

Advanced Trader Tools — Market Screener, Funding Rate Tools

IntentX has the most tradable pairs anywhere on-chain, with over 274+.

We recognized the need to develop advanced trader tooling to make the most of our diverse asset selection and have been hard at work developing:

Our investment in trader tooling will stand out as the industry's best, ensuring that IntentX traders can make the most of our product.

Account Abstraction

With our move to Mantle Network in May and TGE, our Account Abstraction solution is now ready to implement!

Utilizing a number of technologies including Safe, Web3Auth, FunXYZ, and a custom built gas management system, our solution will allow traditional Web2 log-in methods and seamless deposits and trading on IntentX.

Account Abstraction is scheduled for release in Q3 2024.

Custom IntentX NFT Collection

We love NFTs as much as everyone else does, but we believe that platform NFT collections should serve as more than just a cool PFP.

We are partnering with Mercle to release a limited edition IntentX collection!

NFTs will be able to ‘level up’ through on-chain interaction with the IntentX platform.
NFTs will also serve as PFPs within the IntentX platform and leaderboard, along with future upcoming SocialFi features 👀
Future platform utility will be introduced to our awesome NFT collection as we grow!

Platform Scaling

And last but not least, we want to highlight our plans to continue scaling IntentX over the course of the year.

Solver Onboarding:

Solvers are critical to scaling open interest, offering more pairs, and reducing asset spreads. Two solvers are already live taking trades on IntentX, and a third is in development.

Over the course of the year, we will continue to onboard solvers and improve platform functionality. Because of the capital efficiency of IntentX, the platform needs just 4–5 high-quality solvers to competitively offer just about every asset in the market.

Open Interest Availability:

Over the course of the last 6 months, we have scaled available open interest through the solver network from 5M to now almost 50M.

In close collaboration with Backed Vaults, an LP private equity vault built to capitalize solvers, we aim to scale this to $100M+ and with appropriate demand $1B or more.

IntentX will be hosting a Backed Vault deposit LP directly on our UI to provide users with a unique delta-neutral yield opportunity and solvers with capital to operate.

Serviced Front-Ends:

Since the announcement of our Serviced Front-End program, we have received overwhelming interest from the DeFi ecosystem. Including existing and new projects, chains, and more novel applications of the technology.

With three serviced front-ends already live, we continue to work with the highest-potential partners to tap into new use cases and markets.

The revenue stream from serviced front-ends will continue to build over time, in perpetuity. xINTX stakers will benefit from additional distribution beyond the IntentX brand.

Conclusion:

Our 2024 roadmap outlines a series of ambitious goals that build on the strong foundation we’ve established over the past six months. With exciting developments, including our TGE, instant trading, a full V2 platform rebuild, and advanced trader tools, we are set to significantly redefine our platform’s functionality and user experience.
