Panel boards are exceptionally useful and used for a whole host of projects, including furniture construction, joinery tasks and even as office notice boards!
With a wide variety of boards to choose from, sourcing the right materials for the job can be a hassle, however here at International Timber, we have a wide range of panel products available from our UK depots, and what’s more, samples can be ordered so you can check you have the right material for the job at hand.
As an importer of a vast array of timbers from around the world, we have an impressive range of panels to choose from, our range includes:
● Hardwood plywood Including, Chinese plywood, specialist technical plywood and marine grade plywood.
● MDF (medium density fibreboard) With a wide range of applications, MDF is a popular choice, moisture resistant and specialist MDF products are also available.
● Softwood plywood Six different softwoods are available, including Brazilian pine and Chilean Radiata pine.
● Particle board Easy to work with, it is perfect for flooring and furniture construction.
● Pin board Made from almost 100% recycled paper, our pin boards are a sustainable choice!
● Decorative panels With a range of attractive veneered finishes, including Oak available, our decorative panels are perfect for decorative projects such as furniture or kitchens.
● Flame retardant panel These panels are compliant with all relevant requirements including CPE and CE marked.
● Fibre boards The range includes hardboard and insulation board which are both versatile and easy to work with.
● Specialist panel Versapanel is constructed from wood particles and cement, making it suitable for cladding, flooring and acoustic ceilings.
All of the panels we stock are certified and bear the CE mark, which is now mandatory in the UK. The CE mark replaces the Construction Products Directive (CPD).
With each type of panel varying significantly in terms of structure, applications and durability, technical information is available, making selecting the best panel for each project easy.
