Back then, the education system prepared individuals for specific roles at established companies. Potentially lifelong careers at one company.

This is not the case anymore.

Industry has changed a lot since then. Education, not so much.

Working for the same employer is no longer an attractive option for the millennials. Neither is doing the same repetitive tasks that don’t contribute much to the bigger picture.

They desire a meaningful career.

The majority of employers want to work with individuals who are good at negotiation, presentation, leadership, sales, teamwork and communication.

They desire more than just a first-class degree.
