Many public spaces require that dog always remained leashed.

Perhaps something conceptually analogous make sense here.

Let’s take the case of autonomous drones. Should an owner be liable for any damage when a drone flies outside the range from where it can be controlled?

The more that one starts to think about this, we don’t even need to think about A.I. but rather just plain automation to realize that there’s a lot of rules that need to be in place.
