I’m still having a hard time getting past the “pay an influencer to organically drive awareness” when influencer marketing is anything but organic. (I do get your point, though). Today’s influencer marketing just as scripted, primped, touched up, and fake as any ad could ever be. I think the bigger issue is that Facebook is rapidly aging and its users along with it. Its influence is either going to wane or, more likely, be the kind of influence that marketers don’t care about.
