The smile.

The most beautiful smile

I have ever seen,

as the sun shining down on the sea

projecting its devastating fire.

As blinding white clouds

in a bright blue sky.

The most joyful

charming warm smile

that I have ever, ever seen.

As knowing you are in the presence

of something much,

much bigger than yourself,

than your world

than what you had known before.

Paralyzing really,

beyond words,

as the softest feather

carefully caressing my skin

slowly running down my back

until I am left drowsy,

hypnotized,

by the most innocent pleasure

I could possibly fathom.

I find myself staring at it

endlessly,

no self control

as a kid staring at a carousel

for the very first time.

The look of a pure,

sweet little girl

admiring the smile on her dad’s face

as she runs into his arms.

The look I had when I first saw you,

that look that gives me away

and makes you grow bigger

powerful,

as the might of time

the relentless passing of time.

As the unstoppable force of aging.

And it takes me back to feeling

as that little girl

looking forward to be in your arms,

feel your touch

as I contemplate your smile,

your blazing smile,

peacefully feeling

that I need

nothing

more.
