Same thing happens with “celebrity” supporters of the GOP that go public. The problem with Hollywood types endorsing political candidates is that, because of their income level, there is very little they can identify with when it comes to us tax payers. They have those lofty, idealistic wishes that we normal citizens can’t relate to. The average person is worried about paying their bills and feeding themselves and their families…not worrying about saving the planet by driving a Prius or endorsing a candidate because they support PETA.
