My mom had a stroke part 17: Absent

It started with a runny nose under my mask, where I couldn’t do anything about it. It felt different than my omnipresent allergies. And then congestion. Fatigue.

A cold.

Of course in the Pandemic Epoch you can never assume it is, in fact, merely a cold. I didn’t see my mother yesterday. I wasn’t going into that rehab facility with germs trailing like a cloud of perfume.
