Washakie Renewable Energy Applied Science Scholarship for High School

As chief financial officer of Washakie Renewable Energy (WRE) in Salt Lake City, Utah, Isaiah Kingston plays a role in establishing the company’s future direction and developing performance measures to support its strategic visions. Isaiah Kingston also aids the company in giving back to the community and supporting interest in renewable energy through scholarships to high school and college students. These include the Washakie Renewable Energy Applied Science Scholarship.
Founded by WRE founder and CEO Jacob Kingston, the Renewable Energy Applied Science Scholarship provides high school students with the necessary financial aid to advance their college education and pursue a career in the field of applied sciences and renewable energy. The scholarship is intended for students attending Bear River High School in with the intention of studying applied science at the University of Utah School of Engineering. Furthermore, WRE divides the scholarship into four categories in the university’s departments of Chemical and Mechanical Engineering.
