5 Charlotte Tilbury Products That Are ACTUALLY Worth the hype. (An Honest Review)
The hype is crazy. From New York Fashion Week to Vogue, the luxurious brand has skyrocketed in popularity and prestige. Influencers, makeup artists, celebrities… Literally, Everyone loves Charlotte Tilbury.
To say the high-end, luxury brand is doing well would be an understatement. As of 2020, Charlotte Tilbury is now worth a whopping £1 BILLION!

Despite all of this positive publicity, some are skeptical. Naturally, they want to know:
- Are Charlotte Tilbury products worth it?
- Why are Charlotte Tilbury products so expensive? (lol. I feel you.)
Fortunately, I got you. I decided to test out several products from the expensive, luxury brand and wear them every day. I wore them to social events, dates, to the airport, to the beach. Basically everywhere you’d go in summer! You name it.
Here are my top 5 favorite products:
1. Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream
Rating: 10/10
Unlike any other cream I’ve ever tried. This Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream is gorgeous.
It’s a moisturizer, an illuminator, and a primer all wrapped in one.
Plus, SPF 15? Save your skin from sun damage whilst GLOWING…?
Sign me up.
I won’t lie. At first, I wasn’t a fan of this cream. It felt thick and sticky on my skin which wasn’t the best. However, I soon realized that with this product, less is more.
My foundation has never glided onto my skin so smoothly before.
Not to mention…the GLOW? Unreal. If you want a dewy, smooth foundation base, then you need this magic cream in your life. It completely smoothes out your pores and gives you a flawless finish. Perfect for any occasion.
You can mix it with your own moisturizer, which is what I do. My skin always feels hydrated and soft when I’ve got this on. It lasts the whole day!
The only downside? It’s PRICEY…but the results are undeniable. It’s worth it.
(P.S It’s a little floral scented. So if you’re sensitive to that, I recommend getting a tester first.)
2. Beauty Light Wand in Glowgasm
Rating: 8/10
This liquid highlighter is dreamy. It’s lightweight, pigmented, and extremely easy to apply.
Buildable and breathable. Perfect for the morning AND night.
Definitely a showstopper.
I’m sad I didn’t know about this sooner. I’m glad it’s in my life now. Thank you, Madison Beer. This Beauty light wand is amazing.
I am just obsessed with how this looks. It’s stunning. You can apply it with your fingers or a brush or a beauty blender… It works just as well in every way.
If you’re extra like me, you might like applying powder highlight on top of your liquid one.
In which case, feel free to check out the Glowgasm palette. (It comes with highlighter, blush, and contour all together)
If you’re not into liquid… It’s a good alternative.
3. Airbrush Flawless Foundation
Rating: 9/10
Oh. My. Gosh. Are you kidding?
This is my new favorite foundation. No joke! If you’re into a full-coverage, long-lasting foundation, this is for you.
It’s lightweight, matte, and extremely easy to apply.
Also, there is a pump on the bottle, so you won’t waste any product at all.
Just like the magic cream, with this foundation, less is more. Try not to put too much on at first because it is extremely high coverage. You don’t want to look cakey. A few drops of this product does the job perfectly.
And if you want even more coverage, you can just build on it. It’s great.
On the contrary, if you’re not into wearing foundation, especially high coverage foundation, you probably won’t love this. It’s definitely not subtle and lightweight enough for a beach day, I’d say.
It’s supposed to be full-coverage after all, which is my vibe. So if it’s yours too, definitely check this out!
4. Pillow Talk Lipstick
Rating: 7/10
The Pillow talk lipstick is beautiful. It’s subtle, natural and warm.
The colour is stunning, the formula is smooth and creamy.
If you’re looking for a natural, everyday lipstick. This could be the one.
I personally think this product looks best paired with:
- Pillow Talk Lip Liner
- The Pillow Talk Lip Lustre. (The Lip Gloss)
This product on it’s own can look a bit underwhelming. Make sure you have a nice lipgloss and lipliner to match this with. You will love the results. I personally love the combo above.
5. The Glowgasm Blush Wand
Rating: 8/10
This liquid blush is soft, pigmented and rosey.
The perfect product to make you look refreshed and youthful.
It’s so easy to apply. Like the liquid highlighter, you can use any application style you want.
The packaging and the tip of the bottle makes it easy to just dap onto your cheeks.
If you’re not a fan of blush, you will be. This product is stunning, natural and looks amazing. Definitely check this out. You will love it.
In conclusion, I think you can tell by now, Charlotte Tilbury is definitely worth it.
I know how confusing makeup shopping can be. No need to feel overwhelmed. Just start small if you’re interested. Charlotte Tilbury was definitely the best thing to happen to my makeup loving self.
Her products make will literally make you glow. If you want to experience the true meaning of luxury, you need to get your hands on these extraordinary products.
