You know, I’ve sat and seriously contemplated why solitude often suffers such a bad rep when in actual fact, the benefits of voluntarily opting to spend time alone are hella bountiful.

I mean, why does it appear to be so hard to detach from the stigma around consciously electing to spend periods of time in solitude? Is it entirely necessary for there to be an admission of depression to appease the Chinese whispers around how one could possibly opt for isolation over company? Is it so inconceivable that deliberately setting time aside for yourself…
