The problem with release notes

In this “it compiled! Release it!” phase software is going through (otherwise know as “It’s not broke so we broke it to fix it” aka “agile”) it seems release notes have also gone the way of agile as well. Except the goal is to provide zero information. For example:

What in the actual fuck is that? What bugs? Bad bad bad bad BAD! I’m not a software developer by trade but I do believe in release notes that tell what was fixed.

Now those are release notes!
