As much as we all like to spend a lot of money trying to find that one product that can make our skin perfect once and for all, maybe we should stop our quest for the perfect cleanser and pay attention to the everyday routine. The things you do on a daily basis affect your overall appearance more than you think, so check out the next dos and don’ts, because they could really make a huge difference.
Protection comes first
It’s really important to understand that being out in the Sun is dangerous. With everything that’s happening with global warming, it’s not completely safe to be so exposed and unprotected. Now, you shouldn’t lock all doors and barricade yourself from the outside world, but you need to consider some precautions, like protective sunbathing cream. Applying it will only take about a minute more, and the best things is that you can use it as a makeup foundation.

Clean your brushes and sponges
As long as we’re on the subject, you should know that the items you use while you’re putting on your makeup, you may be feeding the dirt on your face that causes you problems. If you want to avoid this, the solution is simple — take proper care of your sponges and brushes and wash them every time you use them. Also, if you wash them right away, before the layers of makeup get hardened, you’ll be able to clean them a lot faster and more efficiently.
Avoid stress as much as possible

Your skin tends to project everything you do. Having this in mind, you should start taking more care about your feelings. When you’re stressed, the skin has a negative reaction — stress causes your skin to produce some bad fluids which make your skin unhealthy. So, you need to try to avoid and learn how to deal with situations you find stressful. A simple, but effective trick is to get enough sleep — your skin will be rested and more resilient than usual.
Chocolate is your no. 1 enemy
If you’re one of those people that can’t imagine their lives without sweets, you can forget about having the perfect skin (unless you got extremely lucky when it comes to your genetics). It’s very important to tone down and regulate the amount of chocolate you eat on a daily bases, and try to replace it with a healthier substitute, like mixed nuts.
Too much of everything
It’s important not to exaggerate. It takes a short period of time for your skin to get tired of any treatment or product. Did you know that even too much washing could be damaging? Every time when you wash your skin, you probably use some kind of cleanser that can dry out your skin, which will become red and irritable. You need to use a cleanser that’s suitable to your skin type, and it’s recommendable to go with the ones made on the natural ingredients, without too much chemicals. Also, while you’re washing your face with a cleanser, you should do so using warm water and apply it softly, in circular motion.

Keep your gadgets clean
This is a relatively new problem that people tend to forget and neglect when talking about this subject. We live in a world where we’re surrounded by gadgets and other technology, and most of us have jobs strictly related to using one of those machines. When you sum it all up, you spend about 8 hours each day around your gadgets. Now, try to remember — when was the last time you’ve thoroughly cleaned them? You need to start taking care of their hygiene, no matter how silly it sounds, because it affects yours. It’s shouldn’t be too difficult or complicated — you just need to get a proper cleanser and read the instructions.
You don’t have to be obsessed with looking perfect — having clear skin and a trendy hairstyle, because there’s an easier way. Even if you have troubles with something that seems unsolvable, like tangled hair — getting rid of that is way simpler than you thought. However, if you want to make a real visible change, it’s necessary to be disciplined. You need to understand that it’s impossible to accomplish anything, unless you’re really determined. Applying these advice could show a major difference in a couple of weeks, but you need to remember them every day and keep your eyes on the final goal — perfect skin.
