Overview:
The GENESIS AI NIGHT, a side event for WebX 2024, was hosted by JANCTION, an AI development company deploying decentralized GPU pools, DWF Labs, one of the world’s largest Web3 investors and a market maker in the cryptocurrency market, and Compute Labs, which is promoting the financialization of AI. The event took place on Wednesday, August 28, at THE SUN & THE MOON in Roppongi. With a focus on the future of the Web3 market and AI, the night was filled with enthusiasm from about 200 attendees.
Venue Atmosphere:
Despite the later-than-usual opening time of 8 PM, due to coordination with other WebX side events, the venue started to buzz with energy just 30 minutes after doors opened. Against the backdrop of Tokyo Tower and the sparkling nightscape, participants mingled and enjoyed their time as they pleased.
Talk Sessions by Each Project:
The event kicked off with speeches from JANCTION, DWF Labs, and Compute Labs. Each project shared their vision and outlook passionately within a short span of 2–3 minutes.
Networking Time
After the speeches, it was time for networking among the participants. The venue was packed, and lively exchanges of opinions took place everywhere. Attendees discussed the future of Web3 and AI while enjoying delicious food and drinks.
Conclusion
As the second event hosted by JANCTION, this gathering attracted around 200 participants and concluded on a high note. With numerous voices expressing that it was a “very meaningful time” and showing eagerness to participate in the next event, it can be considered a great success.
