I’ve found that talking about my experiences makes it so much easier — for everyone.
And I’ve found that I am absolutely not alone in feeling this way. The only way to beat back stigma is to be open about how you feel.
I still see anxiety being treated as “lesser than” other mental health issues. Anxiety can be debilitating, and it only makes sense for the world to start talking about it so we can help people put words to what they’re experiencing.
Mental health issues are pretty common occurrences, and it’s much better to help people feel understood and address what’s going on than to have people suffer in silence, miss work, and fracture their relationships.
