Las winter I went to Yosemite with a friend. We hiked the Upper Yosemite Falls on Saturday morning. When we got to the top we heard a siren from an ambulance. I was very worried of what happened due to the place we were. Yosemite valley is far away from civilization and it takes a while to drive into it. When someone is heavily injured you need to get to a hospital as fast as possible. We didn't hear any helicopter.

On our way out a Ranger told us that there has been a car accident. Someone was driving too fast, jump out of the highway and crash into a tree. They were injured but thanks God it was not very bad.

Due to the fact that the weather was not clear the helicopter couldn't fly into the valley and they had to bring an ambulance. They didn't have any news about the status of the people in the car after they took them.

It make me think why haven't we solved this with unmanned flying drones. We are talking about lives. Peoples lives.

I understand that there is a doubt when it comes to commercial drones but when we are talking about a human life why aren't we adopting the innovation to protect ourselves. Every minute is important when you are in this extreme situations in remote places.
