Good suggestion for questions large and small. Though it’s even less germane to this article’s main points, I sometimes see people who wonder how to spell a word searching for a form they think might be right, and—no surprise—they usually find whatever they typed in. (The simple solution for spelling questions, I can say as a copy editor, is to go with whatever the Merriam-Webster Collegiate lists.)
