Wikipedia Is Not Therapy!

Thanks for this valuable and admirable piece, Andrew. It illuminates something I knew nothing about and hadn’t even thought about. There’s still room for improvement, but I think one reason that Wikipedia editors can be called a community is that they—some or many or most of its members, if not quite all—care about the well-being of others, try to be sensitive, and try to help when they can see the need.

Stories like this, about the human dimensions of technology, are part of what I like about Backchannel. Keep ’em coming.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
