We are proud to announce that Dr. Joel Kreisberg has been elected as President of the Board of the Foundation effective July 1, 2017. Succeeding Eileen Ruby, who completed a successful term on June 30, 2017, Dr. Kreisberg has served on the Foundation board since 2014. “I want to personally thank Eileen for her significant contributions to the community in her role as President of the Board,” offered Dr. Kreisberg, “It will be my privilege to serve The Jewish Community Foundation in this new capacity. I am looking forward to working with our donors in enacting our Jewish values in advancing our mission.”

Foundation Executive Director Lisa Tabak is very positive about working with Dr. Kreisberg. “We congratulate Joel as he begins this three-year term. His experience as an executive director and as a board chair makes him well qualified for taking the reins as Foundation President,” offered Tabak. “I’m really looking forward to accomplishing great things through our partnership.”

Dr. Kreisberg is the executive director of the Teleosis Institute, a non-profit devoted to bringing coaching and narrative healing to health professionals. He is a Doctor of Chiropractic, a Certified Professional Coach, and Certified Classical Homeopath.
