This Isn’t The End.
We all go through hard times, in which we ask ourselves questions like: Am I worth it? What are they going to think if I leave? What is my family going to think about this? You are feeling empty, lifeless. But believe me, it’s always darkest just before the dawn. You feel like if you leave people won’t care, but they will, you’re not just another person in the crowd. But you aren’t. You’re different, you can change the world with one simple smile, and telling yourself that tomorrow is a new day. A new beginning.
You might not notice that you’re amazing. That you’re perfect in your own way. That your flaws are someone else virtues. That your mistakes are actually there for a reason. I didn’t notice that first. I thought that my world was crumbling apart in front of my eyes, and that my life had just turned around completely. I know what you’re feeling, I’ve been what you are going through. In fact, we’ve all been. You’re probably thinking about how others have their perfect life, but they don’t. As Kurt Cobain said “Nobody dies a virgin… Life fucks us all.”
Just think for a second, once more, about your future. You’re throwing it away. Your dreams. Your life, family, friends. This isn’t the end. Just because everything is changing that doesn’t mean it’s the end. I believe everything happens for a reason, so when you commit a mistake, don’t fret, train your mind to see the good in every situation. The mistakes you have committed before leave them in the past, where they belong and only bring the things that you’ve learned because of them.
If you’ve come this far, why give up now? Lift your head up, smile and remember this isn’t the end.
