Have a Great Day

The alarm fails to go off. You wakeup late for class. You stub your toe as you leave your bed. There is no hot water in the shower. You realize your hair is a mess. But you’re gonna have a great day.

The sky is coated with a dark grey finish. The air smells of melancholy. The wind scratches the surface of your skin. It begins to rain. You have no umbrella. But you’re gonna have a great day.

You enter class as everyone stares at you. The shirt you wear has it’s label outside. You realise you have an assignment due today. The teacher asks you to answer a question infront of the the class. You’re in the wrong classroom. But you might have a great day.

You get leftover cafeteria food. You sit alone in the corner of the room. The food tastes like greenish slush. You broke your fingernail. Then your crush comes over. This will be a great day.

He walks right on by without giving you a look. You turn to your phone with 5% battery. You just want to go home… A stranger says asks to sit with you. You smile and nod.
