WHY I SUPPORT HILLARY CLINTON TO BE PRESIDENT OF THESE UNITED STATES*
(*No Research Required)
An Opinion 🤔 by @JJManring
Early during Bill Clinton’s first term as president, I was show a video by a “well-meaning friend” — a video depicting the horrible “truths” about Bill & Hillary Clinton. This video detailed how the “conniving Bill & Hillary” plotted his path to the presidency, paving the way by dealing drugs and murdering anyone who got in their way. This “friend” sat enthralled and disgusted, watching the video for the umpteenth time, shaking his head each time another Clinton misdeed was exposed.
Needless to say, this “friend” was a staunch Republican, and his rabid disdain for the Clintons was unsettling. Therein lies the rub for Hillary haters: Anyone who is so despised by the GOP simply can’t be all that bad.
For a quarter century the GOP Attack Machine has been churning out lie after lie about Bill & Hillary Clinton. They decide upon “the next issue” to propagandize (aka “Talking Points”), then set about feeding it over and over and over again to the electorate through an all but willing mainstream media. Many younger and first-time voters have grown-up exposed to this misinformation barrage, and — as the adage goes — ”where there’s smoke there’s gotta be fire.”
The media often (too often) begins a discussion of Hillary with the prefix, “Hillary — as we all know — has her ‘trust issues’ to contend with.” A steady auditory diet of that could cause almost anyone to “sense smoke.”
Independent, Democrat, and Progressive voters who question the honesty and/or motives of Hillary Clinton need to ask themselves whether their doubts about her are based upon actual fact or because of an endless stream of GOP propaganda. (Or, even possibly, because they want to believe any and all negatives about Hillary as they desire another candidate get the Democrat nomination for 2016.)
I need to do no such soul-searching, no research on Hillary is necessary for me to support her for president as the GOP — through vile words and dastardly deeds — has done it for me almost daily for the past twenty-five years.
