These are all good tips, but the rubber band and bracelet suggestion strikes a nerve. We’ve all heard about tying a string around your finger as a reminder. Years ago, I wanted to remind myself to do something during the day, so I tied a string around my finger in the morning. When I got home that evening, I realized I forgot what I was going to do anyway. The moral of the story is, if you’re going to tie a string around your finger, it helps if you remember to look at your finger sometime during the day. I imagine the colored string or bracelet in the tip would have helped.
