The Senator here demonstrates the usual ignorance and hyperbole that has made gun-control advocacy a political and legal failure for nearly two decades. Even when faced with the fact that the 1994–2004 Assault Weapons Ban was ineffective, the Senator here plows ahead with the predictable unthinking nonsense that has become the hallmark of gun-control mantra. One day we might have politicians willing to truly educates themselves on a topic rather than parrot mindless platitudes; Mr. Casey will not be one of them.
