Well first off thank you for not looping me into the uneducated group…

That’s the part that irks me about Trump and his strategy to appeal to the baser nature of the population. His proposed policies don’t go much beyond “I won’t continue doing things as THEY have, and I’ll fix everything” and in all likelihood that won’t happen.

It’s the oldest lie in the book, and when it’s spouted by an idiot calling for boycotts of firms who move jobs outside the US while owning companies that have done and do exactly that, it’s not hard to guess what will ultimately happen.

The last 8 years might not have been ideal for you, but voting for the worst possible person for the job just because he claims to have a magic cure for all that worries you is irresponsible.

In addition, it might be better to do some research and get actual hard data and facts on whether or not things are worse instead of basing your judgement on anecdotal evidence or personal experience to the exclusion of everything else. If I go to the best rated restaurant in my neighborhood and my own specific meal sucks, that does not mean that it’s the worst restaurant ever.

Sure, it means that I myself didn’t have a good experience, but when you’re talking about macroeconomics and data on a national scale, if the trend is positive as a whole my personal experiences, horrible as they may be, don’t cancel the objective truth.

As for more illegal immigrants having better benefits than working citizens, well, unless you specify what you mean it’s hard not to think that such as statement is hyperbole if not outright fantasy.

I disagree with the Hitler or other fascist comparisons regarding Trump because they’re often used as simplistic arguments to demonize him, but I do think it’s fair to point out that even if you think he means well for the US, inasmuch as a narcissistic bigot like him is able to mean well for anybody except himself or his perceived inner circle, voting for a horrible person just because you agree with his general message is a recipe for disaster.

People will always search for ways to abuse the system, but I find it incomprehensible that many Americans hate the poor so much that they would rather keep on enabling the oligarchy — of which Trump is a prime example — to continue abusing the system for their benefit on a far greater scale and with repercussions that reach far beyond the national borders just so they can feel content in the knowledge that those “illegal immigrants” or “minorities” aren’t getting a “free ride,” whatever that may mean.
