Mobile Office Linking

Owner/Rep/Employee — Depending on the type of business you are in, there are many reasons to be gone from the office. Owners have meetings to go to, bankers to see, people to meet. Representatives are out trying to meet potential new clients, present ideas to make sales, and keeping in contact with existing clients. Employees may be out on those one-of-a-kind errands or on a repetitive nature. There are many good reasons to be out of the office during a busy day at work.

Out of the Office — Once out of office you make your contact, sale or find out some new information. Then what? Keep it to yourself? Not hardly. In today’s fast moving business environment, new information can be key to the survival of your company. This new information needs to be relayed back to the company quickly and easily.

A new contact, a big sale, a request for additional information from a possible new client, are all important and need to be taken care of right away. Whether you are walking, in your car, taking a cab, or on the city bus, the information must be stored somewhere to be useful to your organization.

Get/Update Information — This new piece of information needs to be added to the collective data that your company uses to continue to make a profit. If it is not relayed in timely manner, then the advantage can and probably will be lost. If it is put in the wrong place, it is in effect lost. Whether you need to get more information for a client or potential client or you now have information that needs to get back to the company to place, modify, or update an order, this is the issue that is before you now.

Panic Option — This is the least favorable option. Walk really fast, drive like a maniac through traffic, or hop on the city bus to make the mad dash back to the office. This option can and usually is very stressful. In today’s high technological workplace, there is a better way.

Bring Your Own Device

Real Option — Many organizations, both large and small, are using the concept of Bring Your Own Device or a BYOD solution for short. This allows the employees from the owner on down to use their own handheld device to make secure remote access with the company computer network to send and receive information in a timely manner. By using a VPN mobile app on their device they can connect securely back to the company network. This can enhance the speed of your organization’s data useage greatly. No more walking fast, driving like a maniac, or hopping city buses to make the mad dash back to the office. Relax and enjoy your rush-free commute back to your desk.
